Trust Me
Trust Me When dark doubts assail you
Trust Me when your strength is small,
Trust Me when to simply Trust Me
Seems the hardest thing of all.
Trust Me, I am ever faithful;
Trust Me for Will is best,
Trust Me, for My Heart of Mercy
is the only place of rest.
Trust Me, then through doubts and sunshine
All your care upon Me cast,
Till the storm of life is over,
And your trusting days are past.
This is a very simple prayer for our very complex and suffering times. Our fears, our anxiety, our grief, our anger can all melt in Our Lord's Divine Mercy. When Jesus appeared to His beloved Sister Faustina He was coming for this time now. Our Lady's Spiritual Programme for us is to keep us continually in the heart and mind of the Lord and Our Father.
Our Lady has asked us to pray and fast so that we can be granted God's peace. I think we should also pray for the gift of receiving His Peace in the midst of our current reality. We are all in this together, united in prayer and love God can do and is already doing wondrous things because many hearts are turning to Our Lord.
